Changing phases of the moon
Copper Moons, Installation And Performance
Snehta Gallery, Athens, October-November 2018
Curator: Ioanna Gerakidi
My research about the act of waiting and the passage of time. There are a number of copper discs that have been burnt with acid. The surface of the discs indicate the different states of the moon throughout the month. Each disc represents one lunar state. Within the representation of the theme of waiting and the passage of time, I touch on the sub-themes of cycles, tides, rhythms and motherhood.
